Brief Description
The Out & Back Party Run is a popular four-mile road run and after-party that connects runners from Philadelphia and surrounding areas for an evening of running and socializing. As a non-profit, 501c3 organization, our goal is to plan and execute an enjoyable event, while raising awareness of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Through the support of our event participants and our sponsors, the Out & Back Party Run operates as a fundraiser for ALS Hope Foundation, the race beneficiary since 2005. We are offering some great incentives for ALS fundraising. Oakley sunglasses to the top 4 individual fundraisers and free happy hour to the top team fundraiser! Please consider making a donation to ALS Hope Foundation.
Additional Information
What started as an excuse to combine our love of running with the need to unwind at week’s end has evolved into one of Philadelphia’s best running and party events. For 16 years the Out & Back Party Run has been the place to run and be seen on a Friday night in April.
Enjoy the experience of running along West River Drive. This is a 4 mile, flat and fast course. On your way back from the 2 mile turn around you are greeted with a beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline. Relax after giving short chase with a FREE post-race party rivaled only by its reputation for a good time with great people.
Food, frosty beverages and music await your return from West River Drive where you can take in the picturesque cityscape as dusk settles into evening on the private grounds of Lemon Hill Mansion. You are invited to join us and start your weekend right with a great run, a great T-shirt and a great party. Hope to see you there!
T-shirts
Yes, we are going back to Tech T-shirts to the first 1800 runners.
